I’m Maya, an artist based in Chicago who is inspired by life’s ordinary moments. I see my paintings as a pause button, a way to reflect on something fleeting. Among the busyness of everyday life, my pieces show the beauty in the mundane and give an appreciation for the present. I also offer live painting at events as a way to stop a single moment and preserve it forever.
